ESET for Macのライセンス情報の更新手続について / About the update procedure of license information of ESET for Mac

平素より、情報セキュリティ対策にご協力賜りありがとうございます。
Mac用ウイルス対策ソフト (ESET Endpoint Security for Mac (以下「ESET for Mac」という)) について、2025年度版ライセンスへの更新が必要となりますので、お知らせします。

ESET for Mac をご利用でない方は、
手続き不要です。このお知らせはこれ以上読まなくて大丈夫です。

ESET for Mac をご利用中の方は、ESETライセンスIDをご確認ください。
ESET for Mac を開き、「ヘルプとサポート」を開くと確認できます。

・ESETライセンスIDの末尾が「 A5K 」ではない方は、
　このままだとパターンファイルが更新できなくなりますので、ライセンス手続きをしてください。

・ESETライセンスIDの末尾が「 A5K 」となっている方は、
　手続き不要です。このままお使いください。

■該当ソフトウェア
　ESET Endpoint Security for Mac (ESET for Mac)

■更新期限
　2025年6月30日まで　(有効期限を過ぎてからでもライセンスの更新はできます)

■更新手順
1) 以下のURL(ウイルス対策ソフトウェア)にアクセスします。
https://www.media.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/services/antivirus/
2) 「ダウンロードページ」メニューをクリックします。
3) 「大学所有PC」または「個人所有PC」から、該当する箇所をクリックし、広大IDと広大パスワードでログインします。
4) 「ESET アクティベーションキーを表示」で、ライセンスキーを表示します。
5) ESET for Mac を開き、「ヘルプとサポート」内の「ライセンスの変更…」を押して、キー入力画面を開きます。
6) 手順4) で表示された文字列を入力して、「続行」ボタンを押します。
7) ESET Network Access Protection の機能拡張が追加されます。
詳細は 手順3) で開いたダウンロードページの備考欄にある「ライセンス変更手順」をご参照ください。

It is time to update your license to the fiscal year 2025 version of the anti-virus software for the Mac (ESET Endpoint Security for Mac (hereinafter referred to as “ESET for Mac”))

If you are not using ESET for Mac,
You have to do nothing now. You can stop reading this mail.

If you are using ESET for Mac, please check your ESET License ID.
To check it, open your ESET for Mac window and click “Help & Support”.

・If it don’t ends with “A5K”,
　Please complete the update procedure to continue using ESET.

・IF it ends with “A5K”,
　No proceudure is required. Thanks for your cooperation.

■Applicable software
　ESET Endpoint Security for Mac (ESET for Mac)

■Update period
　June 30,2025 (You can renew your license even after it has expired.)

■Update procedure of license information
1) Access the following URL (Anti-Virus Software).
https://www.media.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/services/antivirus/
2) Click the second light blue button named “Download Page” and enter your HIRODAI ID and HIRODAI password on the authentication screen.
3) From “University-owned PC” or “Personally-owned PC”, click on the appropriate section.
4) To get a license key, click “View ESET activation key”.
5) Open your ESET for Mac window, click “Help & Support” > “Change license…”.
6) Input the license code you got in step 4) and click “Continue” button.
7) The extension “ESET Network Access Protection” is added to your ESET.
