【お知らせ】キャンパス情報ネットワーク(HINET)の支線・無線部分の更新作業について/Updating for campus network (HINET) edge network switches and HINET Wi-Fi’s access points

平素よりキャンパス情報ネットワーク(HINET)の運用にご理解とご協力いただきありがとうございます。
メディアセンターでは、2023年1月から3月にかけて、HINETの支線部分および無線部分(HINET Wi-Fi)の更新作業を行います。
今回の更新では、各建物・各フロアに設置されているネットワークスイッチの入替やHINET Wi-Fiアクセスポイントの交換が順次発生します。
現時点での作業スケジュールおよび作業影響について特設ページで情報提供を行っています。

【支線 (研究室等のネットワーク)】
- 各建物内、各フロアにあるHINET接続装置(フロアスイッチ)を全て交換します。
- 交換作業は土日祝日の日中帯に実施し、30分から1時間のネットワーク停止が2回または3回発生します。
- 建物内のHINET Wi-Fiも停止します。
- 交換作業が完了し次第、ネットワーク接続は自動で復旧しますが、再認証が必要になる場合があります。
- 交換作業が行われる建物は、1週間前よりネットワーク利用申請による一部申請(コネクタID新規申請、ゾーンへのコネクタ追加申請など)ができません。
- また1月から3月の間は全学的に申請から設定完了までに時間を要する場合があります。
【無線 (HINET Wi-Fi)】
- 該当箇所のアクセスポイントの交換作業を3月中の日中帯に行います。
- 交換作業中は、該当講義室・会議室でのHINET Wi-Fiが利用できません。
- 交換作業終了次第、利用できるようになります。
- 3月末(土日予定)にHINET Wi-Fiの全学的な一時停止を伴うサーバ更新作業を実施します。日程は改めてお知らせします。
交換作業のスケジュールについてご確認いただきますようお願いします。

We will be updating HINET edge network switches and HINET Wi-Fi’s access points from January to March 2023.
This update will include the replacement of network switches installed in each building and each floor.

[On-campus limited] Renewal of Campus Network (Edge network switche and HINET Wi-Fi)

[Edge Network]
- All HINET edge switches (building and floor switches) will be replaced.
- The replacement will be performed during daytime hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and the network will be down for 30-60 minutes two or three times. HINET Wi-Fi in the building will also be down.
- Network connectivity will be restored automatically as soon as the replacement work is completed, but re-authentication may be required.
[Wireless Network (HINET Wi-Fi)]
- The access points will be replaced during the daytime hours in March.
- HINET Wi-Fi will not be available in the lecture rooms and conference rooms during the replacement.
- The Wi-Fi will be available as soon as the replacement work is completed.
- Server maintenance will be perform in the end of March (scheduled for Saturday and Sunday).
