「NextGenプログラム」参加者が「ServiceNow Japan Hackathon 2022」で特別賞を受賞

「テクニカルトレーニング＋インターンシップ」ハイブリッドプログラム

を実施しています。

去る8月25日、ServiceNowの開発者コミュニティ向けイベント「ServiceNow Japan Hackathon 2022」が開催され、2022年度のNextGenプログラム参加者20名のうち4名が、参加26チーム120名中唯一の学生チーム「Team HIRODAI」として参加しました。
ハッカソンでは、「ハイブリッドワーク」のテーマのもと、ポストコロナの環境下の大学において教員、学生、職員の三者が抱える面談の課題を解決するアプリ「面談調整Now」の開発・プレゼンを行いました

「テーマとの関係性」「利用者に対する革新・創造・貢献」「技術的先進性」「最新機能の活用」などによる評価の結果、「テーマとの関係性」が高いチームに贈られる「特別賞」を受賞しました。学生チームの受賞は初めてとのことです。これは、NextGenプログラムの中で習得した「価値創造を考慮するアプリ開発」を実践した結果と考えています。

メディアセンターでは、来年度もNextGenプログラムを実施する予定です。

Since 2021, we, Information Media Center (IMC), has been implementing a

“Technical Training + Internship” Hybrid Program
To become the leading position in the needs of Digital Transformation with Low/No-code application development skillset.
(aka “NextGen Program”)

in collaboration with ServiceNow.

On August 25, the ServiceNow Developer Community event “ServiceNow Japan Hackathon 2022” was held, and 4 out of 20 participants in NextGen Program 2022 were participated as the only student team “Team HIRODAI” out of 120 participants in 26 teams.
At the hackathon, under the theme of “Hybrid Work”, they developed and presented an app “Interview Coordination Now” that solves the problems of interviews faced by teachers, students, and staff at universities in a post-corona environment.

As a result of evaluation based on “Relationship with Theme”, “Innovation/Creation/Contribution to Users”, “Technological Advancement”, “Utilization of the Latest Functions”, etc., Team HIRODAI received a “Special Award” that will be awarded to teams with high “Relationship with Theme”. This is the first time that a student team has received the award. We believe that this is the result of putting into practice the “Application Development that Considers Value Creation” that they learned in the NextGen Program.

The IMC is planing to hold the NextGen Program next fiscal year, too.
