5/27(月) 学術情報ネットワークSINET作業に伴うHINETへの影響について/ Impact on HINET due to work on the SINET

広島大学が学外との接続(インターネット接続等)に利用している学術情報ネットワーク[SINET]の保守作業が以下の日程で予定されています。

本作業に伴い、学内からのインターネット接続にて一時的に通信が不安定な状況になる可能性がありますのでお知らせいたします。

[作業日時]

• 2024年5月27日 (月) 深夜 1:30 – 3:00 のうち最大15分が2回程度

[影響内容]

• 作業時間中はバックアップ回線に切り替わるため、インターネット接続は継続して利用できますが、一時的に不安定になる場合があります。
• IPv4接続のみとなりますが、利用上の問題はありません。

Maintenance work on the SINET, which Hiroshima University uses to connect to the rest of the university (e.g. Internet connection), is scheduled for the following dates.

The following is a notice to inform you of the possibility of temporary communication instability when connecting to the Internet from within the University due to this work.

[Date and time of the work]

• Two 15-minute downtimes between 1:30 and 3:00 midnight on 27 May 2024 (Mon).

[Impact]

• The internet connection will be switched to a back-up line during the work period, so the internet connection can continue to be used, but may become temporarily unstable.
• The IPv4 connection will only be available, but there will be no problem in using it.
