多要素認証設定の猶予期間の短縮(90日→30日)について/ Reduction of the Grace Period for Multi-Factor Authentication Setup (From 90 Days to 30 Days)
いつもセキュリティ対策にご協力いただきありがとうございます。
広島大学では多要素認証が義務化されており、ID発行から90日間は自己設定のための猶予期間としておりました。
しかしながら、これまで9割の利用者が授業開始前など早々に設定済みの状態でありながらも、残りは期限が過ぎた後に設定している現状です。
そこで、セキュリティの強化の観点から、2024/4/1 から猶予期間を 30日 に短縮することにいたしました。
未設定のまま30日を過ぎた場合、多要素認証の設定が強制的に求められます。
4/1以降に多要素認証が未設定の場合、学外から広大メール、VPN、もみじ等のサービスが利用不可になります。
（多要素認証の設定が求められる場合は設定をおこなってください。）
なお、既に多要素認証の設定をされている方は影響ありません。
未設定の場合は手順に沿って設定をお願いします。
【多要素認証設定手順】
多要素認証はIMCアカウント、広大IDの両方で必要になります。

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation on information security.
At Hiroshima University, multi-factor authentication is mandatory, and a grace period of 90 days from the issuance of ID has been provided for self-setup. However, while up to now 90% of users have completed their setup early, such as before the start of classes, the remaining students tend to set it up after the deadline has passed.
Therefore, for enhancing security, we have decided to reduce the grace period to 30 days starting from April 1, 2024. If not set up within 30 days, the setup of multi-factor authentication will be mandatorily required.
If you don’t set up MFA on and after April 1, 2024, campus services,HIRODAI Mail、VPN、MOMIJI, will be not available when access from the off-campus network.
(If multi-factor authentication setup is required, please set it up.)
Those who have already set up multi-factor authentication will not be affected.
If not set, please follow the procedure.
